Ugur specializes in corporate law, shipping, transport, international trade and arbitration, insurance, labor law, media and telecom.
Beside his in depth understanding of intricacies of Turkish litigation system, he is also experienced in advising his clients in international arbitrations such as the London Maritime Arbitrators’ Association (LMAA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
He frequently advises on contentious and non-contentious issues and represents his clients across a wide variety of disputes such as those arising from international sales contracts, carriage contracts, insurance policies, bills of lading, charter parties, collisions, liability disputes arising from environmental pollutions, inspection and audit services. He is well known for his solution-focused approach which he successfully applies to complex legal disputes.
